I'm afraid I'm out of ideas for particularly nasty diseases - after the first two, I ran out of ideas. So I'll just drop this here and see what the rest of you think of it.


CRAFT NEEDLER
JAB (name) (disease)
NEEDLERLOAD (disease)
NEEDLERREMOVE (disease)
DISEASELIST
A nasty, visceral bit of technology, the needler is sheathed in a protophase field allowing it to penetrate armour with ease. Unfortunately the needler itself does precious little injury, being more a delivery method and used to keep your concoctions alive. (DISEASE list displays those loaded.)

INSPECT
INSPECT (disease)
Puzzle out any special characteristics of a disease. (See any delays, triggers, the components, etc)

DELAY
DELAY (toxin) (time)
Load a timer into the disease so that while it does spread throughout the system, it waits a certain amount of time measured in the heartbeats of those it resides in.

NANOTRIGGERS
NANOTRIGGER (toxin) (name)
NANOTRIGGER ACTIVATE (name)
Loading a disease with nanobots allows them to trigger the disease for you, remotely. They must be infected normally, however a trigger will be broadcast around them through the comm system of the planet in which they reside and cause proteins in the disease to be activated, allowing it to rampage through the body.

AIRBORNE
VECTOR VIRAL (disease)
Adding an airborne viral vector to a disease is a dangerous, if entirely amusing activity. When a viral disease goes airborne any in the local area will become infected on contact. (Anyone in the same room has a high chance to get infected with the airborne disease(s) each tick.)

IMMUNITY
IMMUNISE SELF (disease) (disease) (disease) (disease)
By attaching drips to ampules of your concoctions and tainting them with retrovirals you can become immune to certain concoctions of your own for a period of time. This may, occasionally, work on the brews of others but is unlikely due to the differences in genetech construction of your diseases.

CREATION
CREATE (diseasename)
VECTOR (Type) (disease)
EFFECT (type) (disease)
You may now create horrific diseases of your own. Each can have up to four effects and one vector, but is likely to be cured entirely via antivirals designed to affect one of the specific parts of it due to the tangled nature of the germs.

Diseases:


Optix
BREW OPTIX
Optix causes sudden muscle and neurotissue development in the eyeballs, as well as calcification. The effects are.. different, and likely to unsettle anyone who watches. (Eyeballs rip themselves out of the socket and grow spikes. They proceed to wander around on his face jabbing him until he PLUCKs them off. Anyone watching is afRAID. Minor bleeding damage from the spikes, and the eyeballs that are ambulatory will blind him regularly until PLUCKed. One also has the chance to be autoplucked and get swallowed, rendering him unable to eat as it lodges in his throat, causing bleeding with the spines rammed through the walls of the throat.)

Ubbles
BREW UBBLES
Ubbles covers the skin of the target with boils. Their body changes all the pus that would normally fill these into a highly corrosive acidic substance which is spewed out of the protective coating of the boils every few seconds. The stench from this is nauseating and likely to reveal the presence of anyone infected so. (Shows them if they are hidden due to the SMELLLLELELELEL. Scent. Odour. Perfume. Damage, inability to apply anything to their skin.)

Nanotriggers and Delay allow you to stack uncurable afflictions (okay, they don't do anything - YET), and with just basic timing all of them pop up at once. Even without any affliction locks that's a Very Bad Thing.

Also, on Optix... you serious? That's almost comedic in its absurdity.

That was the point. I should point out that the blinding is the walking eyeballs popping new ones. I thought about Ubbles screeching in pain and causing mental afflictions by whispering to you, but meh. I really couldn't think of anything else that was Tarantino bad. That's why I posted it here.

Isuppose Delay could also only work for certain things, or only one/two at a time.

How about this - can't infect the target with a Delayed disease if one is already delayed inside it? That way, with correct timing you can have 2 diseases hit at the same time. More would be too excessive. I still think Nanotriggers should go though.

If these diseases are supposed to be absurd, then okay. Let me see if I can think of any of my own.
