Why do you do quests? Options

Well consider quests in MMOs often don't stop you from doing anything that you would be doing normally. You're still killing the same mobs that you usually are - you just have to go back to NPC x and return them for the phat lewtz as opposed to just killing the mobs and not having to return.

I've found that questing in other graphical MMOs tend to be very tedious and boring. Gathering x amount of kills or z amount of items for no other purpose but the purpose of grinding turns me off. I am a recently new player to Lusternia and completed the Hero of the Finks quest. It was very satisfying to have finally completed the quest after having quest items decay on me so many times. I also enjoy questing for the rewards. Receiving an ample amount of gold or a useful item is satisfying. I dislike receiving items in other MMOs that are completely useless to my character where their only use is to be sold.

Personally, I enjoy doing things in groups, I've never been much of a solo player, and it seems silly to me to play a multiplayer game just to spend it doing everything alone. Quests I like to see are the ones where each person can have a different purpose, like one person has to channel something and it takes all of his attention, so the other individual has to make sure he doesn't get hit too many times.
