QUOTE (Kirraxus @ Feb 10 2010, 11:11 PM) *
So Coporporate empires would therefore possibly be more powerful than an empire itself?

The Velkin Collective could reign as overlord of the universe? Well, I mean, it would have to be rebuilt... but...tongue.gif

A Corporate Empire could, theoretically, be more powerful than an Empire. However, the Velkin Collective was not a corporation, so to resurrect the Velkin Collective in its original, historical form it couldn't be a Corporate Empire.

New Want!

Can you answer these?:
1) Tiny hints on History and/or Geography of Yrilo and Raila.

2) Is Jemok a moon of Jekrito or just a moon that has *cough* things that somone on Jekrito may need?
Spoiler alert: Jemok may or may not be involved with quests on Jekrito.

3) Moar Velkin?

*4) I've collected a bit of information on Aldena (Ironically it wasn't anything that was slipped in the IRC... dry.gif You guys are good)
However, I've composed a possible hypothetical view based on my 'studies'. I'd like to know how close to the truth I am. If I'm right or if I'm wrong either way, I hope you get a kick out of this.

Aldena is a vast, sythetic planet maintained by Sentient Artificial Intelligence. It is a zone of combat created completely from advanced holographic modules similar to the more primitive modules used in arenas. Advanced holographicsa is technology that only the 'inhabitants' of Aldena can fully grasp. Some of Aldena is known for mining settlements as well as some less than honourable factions

Geography
The holographic surface of Aldena is composed mostly of a sandy desert. However, the more norhern regions of the planet are abundant with a dense, humid jungle region.

Archetecture
The more advanced buildings and structures of Aldena tend to appear on the more central and southern parts of the planet. Advanced Highways connect the multiple space stations and mines of the planet. These space stations are populated by Inhabitants willing to pay newer adventurers for their services.

Miners
Chief Engineer Oliver - An inhabitant of Aldena willing to reward adventerers for finding workers when they have wandered off and retrieving resources from them. May or may not delight in giving newer advenurers highly reactive materials.

Neal the Mechanic - A strange fellow who from time to time decides to hide himself.

Georg the Foreman - The foreman of the mines who seems to delight in asking newer adventurers to retrieve highly reactive materials.

Kipling the Mess Cook - The Cook for the mining station. Requests small vermin (currently motives are uncertain).

Fauna

Sand Rats - Vermin that live in the sand. Some people seem to find a use in their body parts from just appendages to whole live newborns. May or may not have culinary significance (see Kipling)
Snakes
Beetles
Birds

Factions of Aldena
It is said that more factions from the three empires may dwell on the northern part of the planet. Members of each faction willingly accept adventurers to do random tasks to strengthen their own faction, sabatoge the other factions, or a little of both.

Leat - A faction of Aldena similar in the traits of the Bileath Empire
Ekat - A faction similar to the Trekat Empire
Jrec - A faction similar to the Jezira empire

End Notes: This is what I have pieced together based on limited information. I have a sneaking suspicion that I am wrong. For those who are reveling in my confusion, I hope that satiated your appetite.

* I'd like to know how close I am more than the other questions. I may be hideously mistaken.
